Success Stories

Geri Dewick

Geri started training with me back in 2007. her initial goals were to lose some of the weight she had gained after having two children. We have always worked together on setting and re-assessing her goals. Once her weight loss had been acheived and she had lost over 8% body fat Geri needed a new challenge. She decided to start running and very quickly completed her first 5k race. Over the last couple of years she has progressed and succeeded at running longer distances. In April 2011 she completed her first London Marathon in 4 hours 36 minutes. This was a fantastic acheivement and surfice to say she has signed up for next years run. All her training has been detailed and planned according to her goals. for the start of 2011 we focused on muscular endurance training. currently we are looking to re-gain some muscle mass and this will culminate in muscular endurance training in time for The London Marathon 2012.

Amanda Haas

Amanda came to see me in 2010 and her two goals were to lose weight and gain self-confidence. We set her a training regime of one session a week with me and at least two other sessions per week either in the gym or power walking. She was commited and over a ten month period lost a total of four stone.

Kate Pratt

Kate contacted me back in October 2010 but was unable to start training until December due to a serious back problem. Kate is a keen swimmer and gymnast but was unable to compete in her sports. She had been told not to partake in gymnastics until August 2011. With this in mind we set her a training schedule that would help her to strengthen her back (and not avoid working on it!). Her progress has been outstanding and she started back at swimming in January 2011 and also returned to gymnastics in April 2011, four months ahead of schedule.
