I first started training with Dan in June 2004 and after an initial analysis and review I started my training. Dan set me what he thought would be realistic targets for me to achieve, although if he wasn't standing nxt to me and encouraging me I doubt I would have lasted 10 minutes. However through his motivation I managed to get through the first hour and came back for more!
Through Dan's encouragement I have managed to increase my level of fitness, reduce my fat percentage and then improve my muscle tone and no matter what excuse I try and make he assures me that I can find the energy to carry on even to the point of stating "it will be fun". Dan is an excellent motivator and does this without shouting and always manages to meke me work that little bit harder even when I tell him "I can't go on". I always know whenI have achieved a good workout as it is sore the next day exactly where Dan said it is supposed to work my muscles.
I never thought that anyone would see me on a stability ball let alone a vew-do board and yet there I am givin them a go and secretly enjoying the fact that I am able to manage them!
Dan is a very knowlegable personal trainer and always has a plausable answer for every question I throw at him, and all this really helps with a good sense of humour! The fact that after two and a half year's personal training I am still attending for training sessions four times a week means that both he and I must be doing something right!
